When I need to insert an item, I've always hated the workflow: "Right-click >> Insert >> All Palettes >> Select a VI..."

Why can't we just do "Right-click >> Insert VI..."? Well, now we can!

This plugin adds an "Insert VI..." menu at the top level of the palettes:

The insert function also supports multi-wire select, so you can select multiple wires and insert your VI with all wires connected. (Credit: Multi-select code copied from QD:Insert.vi - thanks Darren!)
