Is it possible to program for robot arm with inverse kinematics in Labview?

Hi everyone,

I created a robot arm with lego, which has 4 joints.
I want to make it move with inverse kinematics. i.e, given the postion and orientation of end-effector, to compute angles of every joint along the trajectory. see the figure.
I am not sure if this can be implemented using LabVIEW.
Has anyone done this before?
If it works, it would be nice if any one of you could give me some suggestions.
(if someone knows other software can do this, very appreciate to share with me)

It looks like there is a solution in this thread.  I don't know if you can run it on the NXT itself or if you will need to use direct commands to use the NXT as I/O but the processing running on the host.
