LabVIEW Crashes on 2 Different Win 7 PCs using Datalogging vi that Worked Fine Last Week! LabVIEW completely closes with error message shown in the attached .jpg file.
I've got to suspect that the latest NXT toolbox patch broke the datalogging. My vi file is also attached if anyone else wants to see if it crashes for them, too. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Joel

Interesting new development here:
I uninstalled NXT Toolbox from one of the Win 7 PCs and then reinstalled an earlier version. Now the previously posted vi works fine on that machine!
Incidentally, I should mention that we're running LabVIEW 2012 SP1 and the compatible NXT Toolbox.

This situation has not yet been resolved. Any ideas out there? NXT Toolkit developers, is the latest upgrade full of bugs?

Hello Joel777,
Thanks for posting at NI forums! I used your code with LabVIEW 2013 and it worked out fine. I wasn’t able to reproduce your crash. I can see in the attachment you were using 2012, when you say you see this error with the latest toolbox, do you mean 2013 or another version? What version of Windows 7 and LabVIEW are you using: 32 or 64 bits? I look forward to hear from you!

Hi amezam,
Yes, I'm running 32-bit LabVIEW 2012 SP1 on 32-bit Win 7. Latest toolbox means the latest one for LV 2012 SP1, which pushed an upgrade last week.

Hi Joel,
Where did you get this latest upgrade that pushed last week?

Hi APena,
Several updates were pushed by the NI Update manager. I'm pretty sure that one of them was an NXT toolbox update. Not at the machine right now so I cannot try the Updater again to see if I can duplicate the failure mode by re-installing the update. I can check it in the morning.

Ok thanks. The reason I ask is because the last update to the NXT Module 2012 SP1 was the f3 patch which released back in November and can be found here.
When you get a chance, can you find out if you are using the f3 patch? You can find out by going to Help -> About NXT Module.
Thanks.

Okay, I rebooted my laptop today and it wanted to upgrade the NXT Module with the f3 patch. Since I believe that's what may have broken my datalogging, I politely declined the upgrade. Are there any known issues with the f3 patch and datalogging?
