Hello, I recently got the LabView student edition version 1.1, (after 6 weeks) and then I figure out that it won't work with mac. I specifically said that I wanted the mac version on the order form. Is there a way that I can get LabView student edition version 1.0? (according to this link: http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=440559&jump=true#M440559, that version works on mac)
Also, according to the earlier link Lego Mindstorms toolkit 2.0 is only available on Windows. Is there an error in this post, do I have to wait for Mindstorms toolkit 2009, or is there a link to the old version 1.0? Thanks for your help.

Sorry about the mistake, I mean LabView 7.1.1 and LabView 7.1.0. (I ran out of editing time)

Andrew,
How did you order LabVIEW 7.1 student edition? It may be possible to work with a sales representative to get you a newer version of LabVIEW Student edition that is supported on Mac OS X. Please be aware the NXT Module 2009 will only install into LabVIEW 2009.

Thanks for the reply, I ordered the Student Edition from a link on the Mindstorms toolkit: "If you already have the toolkit, you can order a free LabView copy from here". I also downloaded the toolkit from that link, so it must be that I have the 1.0 version. (Before I found that post, I thought that the 2.0 was for mac)

Andrew,
It looks like for the time being we will only be making available LabVIEW 7.1 Student Edition for free, which as I said before is Windows only.

Ah, OK. I just wish I could make blocks for NXT-G, but that can wait. For now I can use WINE or Virtual Box.
Oh, BTW can you give me any release date or expected date of when Student Edition 7.1 will be free for mac? (I have read that it was released for mac, just hasn't been made free yet)

Just thought of something! If I already have the data files (the vi's needed to run, came with the cd) could you provide me with a .app file that encapsulates it and allows it to run? Probably not but thanks anyway.

One more thing... (sorry for triple posting!) Where can I buy LabView 7.1 for mac? Since it is not available for free I thought that maybe I could buy it! (even though I don't have a big budget...)
