garbage in memory

Hi guys, I'm having a little issue after having written to file while navigating an obstacle course. Some 'garbage' resembling the data I am trying to write to a file on the NXT has appeared in the 'NXT files' section of the NXT terminal in LabVIEW, does anyone know how to get rid of it? Clearing files on the NXT, or with bricxcc's NeXTTool hasn't helped, and as you can see in the attached image, I cannot defrag the nxt's memory. This problem probably occurred by me repeating the same process quicky, or something.

Thanks,

Tom

p.s I think it's also the reason why my labview crashes fairly often when connected to the NXT over Bluetooth

No one can give me a way to clear the NXT's memory, or reset it to factory defaults?

Hey Tom,

The reset button for the NXT is on the back of the device at the very bottom of one of its mounting holes near the USB port.  If you look down into it you should see what looks like a small silver button.  You will need a paper-clip or something similar to press it. After you've reset the device, reinstall the firmware.

If you want me to have a look over your code, I can have a look and see if its a coding issue or something to do with the actual NTX.

Kind regards,
