Hi all,
Could someone with LV 2009 be able to screen grab the vi code panel for the NXT rgb light, I'm interested to see how the vi is constructed.
cheers

Howdy Nick,
I am a little unsure what you asking for, so I am assuming that you are wanting a screenshot of the block diagram for Read Color VI. I have attached it below; however I feel that is not what you are needing....

Hi,
Thanks for that, pretty close but actually what I was after is the internal block diagram of the direct command vi rgb sensor. There might be a couple of layer to it, not sure though.
Basically what to see how it's implemented.
cheers

Hey DiscoBall,
Thanks again, Unfortunately I've had the eval 2009 and was using the rgb light until it expired.
I then got the labview NXT book which comes with labview 8.5.
Anyway the exact name of the VI I'm unsure. From the screengrab you supplied previously, I think it's the block in the middle, are you able to double click into it and screengrab the block diagram.
cheers

Hey there,
Thanks for doing that.
Basically I want to build RGB light functionality it for 8.5.
I'm using The 8.5 Toolkit 2, unfortunately the problem is, it doesn't support everything that the 2009 version does, namely the RGB light.
In saying that, at first glace I can't see anything speacial in the screengrabs you sent, need to have deeper inspection...
cheers again

Hi,
Honestly I can't believe it, just getting started to recreate the rgb vi, from shots you sent. I remembered that there isn't a way to activate the light values separately. Anyhow this time there it was the colorfull colorred... for sensor type on the DC Sensor Value vi. They simply were not there before.
The only thing I did different was to uninstall the expired labview 2009. What's strange is it hasn't been completely implemented in the same way as 2009 version, especially that there is HiTechnic implementations.
I know other people have also asked about not being able to access the rgb light with 8.5 on the forum.
Thanks again
Nick
