Guys,
I finally was able to log in as an admin on my Windows 7 64 bit OS. So, I followed the step provided here: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/4F811A9B23F1D46E862566F700615B7A?OpenDocument which says how to manually register type lib, active x control, so on and so forth.
I was not able to perform the required shown directions. So, my question here is, how do I actually make sure that I have registered all activex components and the required tool kit for LabVIEW to run properly? I know this might sound like a stupid/redundant question but trust me, I have tried all different kinds of ways to get there but to no avail.
If anyone could show me a way on how to get to make sure all the active x are installed properly that would be of great help. Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Jonathan Lam

Guys,
I had finally come to a solution from all the great advice that you have provided to me. I have checked that there are still certain drivers that have compatibility issues with LabVIEW 2009 64bit. What I did was uninstalled my current LabVIEW and installed LabVIEW 2009 32 bit instead and all my programs runs just fine now.
Thanks again for all your great help and advice. Really really appreciate all the time and effort from you guys!
Sincerely,
Jonathan Lam
