3D Graphs cause LV 2009 to CRASH

Solved!

Hi all,

The placing of any of the new 3D graph controls on the front panel causes LV 2009 to Crash!

Please advise.

Battler.

Can you elaborate a little bit?

When I drop any of the new 3D graphs onto the front panel (whether it's a new or existing VI) LV 2009 loads a number of subVIs (presumably required for the 3D graph functionality) and then LV simply close and disappears (i.e. crashes).

I have installed the latest LV 2009 "f2" patch.

Does anyone else have the same problem and/or know how to resolve?

Hi battler.,

Does this happen for all 3D Graphs or just specific ones? I have found a CAR that seems to be similar to the issue you are seeing, but I am looking into that further and will post when I have more information. In the mean time, you may want to try a LabVIEW Repair.

Thank you for choosing National Instruments.

Hi,

It happens for all 3D graphs.

Please get back to me as I want to use them.

Cheers,

Battler.

Hi battler.,

Unfortunately, that CAR was closed because it was not reproduceable. My recommendation at this time would be to do a LabVIEW Repair. To do this, go to Control Panel»Add or Remove Programs»National Instruments Software»Change/Remove»LabVIEW 2009»Repair. You may need your installation discs for this operation.
