           I want to convert a jpeg file into vrml file,so pls give me suitable suggestion.

Hai,

Picture operations included with labview support loading of wml files(or vrml).  You can load a wml file in labview.

But i think there is no such function that converts jpeg to vrml.   If you want online conversion try using third party activex control that can do the job.

if image conversion is your criteria and not online conversion then there are numerous freeware downloads that converts jpeg to vrml.  Run a search you will get many.

dear sir,

     we devoleped roll & depth  movement of underwater vehicle in X-Y graph with 2dimensional rotational matrix using labview 7.1. we have to devolep this program for the 3 dimensional movement of the vehicle in labview 8.2. please send some useful examples and links. can we use 3D rotatinal matrix for this program, if it so,please give suggession for this otherwise give details about devoleping  program.

Hi Jayanthi,

The simplest option would be to use a 3D graph, which will display 3D data on a 3D plot in an ActiveX object on the front panel.

1) What format is your 3D picture?

2) Please look at the following link.  You will find that there are three different options for 3D graphs.

Are you interested in a surface graph, surface and parametric graph, or curve graph?

3) There is an example of the 3D graph posted at the following website:

4) The 3D picture control will add additional functionality:

-Exploring a 3D scene with the mouse

-Creating 3D objects from scratch
