3d surface graph: Plotting Multiple Surfaces (ActiveX Surface Graph vs. Non-ActiveX Surface Graph)

Please correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the color matrix input the equivalent of the w matrix?

The W Vector in the CW 3d graph allowed me to inedpently determine the color of each point in the graph indpent of of XYZ values.

Does the Color Matrix allow me to do the same?

If so then what is lacking here is someone that knows how to use this new critter. I spent many week-end doing trial and a lot of error to figure out the CW version. I have not done the same with the new version.

Wonger,

You have a Blue icon. can you find out for us please?

EDIT!

Wonger replied the same time as myself.

I am still leaning toward this being a bug.

Spoiler

(if they had only serached for my examples ahead of time. Oh-bother)

Yes, the color matrix on the Native 3D graphs allow you to do the same thing. I believe the format is the same, it takes a 2D array of values which map to the 3d graph's color map. If the color matrix is not wired, it maps the Z Matrix to the color map instead.

I agree it should be on the 3D Math plots as well. If you need this feature, for now I suggest you try to use the Native 3D graphs. In general the 3D Math plots are just more specialized versions of what the Native 3D graph can do.
