5.0 Eval Still Broken

You recently answered a question concerning the Patch for the 5.0 Evaluation Software expiring prematurely. Yesterday, I loaded a version from a book (ISBN 0-13-096423-9) that I had purchased a while ago. It's dated 1998. I did not have a computer available when I purchased the book, so I never was able to use the disk. I would like to evaluate this software for the company that currently employs me. How can we fix this?

You would probably be better off evaluating the currently shipping version of LabVIEW (6.1). 5.0 is pretty old and there have been a lot of changes since then. You can request the CD from NI at http://digital.ni.com/demo.nsf/websearch/14F9CE475127ADE786256AC60070926C?OpenDocument&node=1381_US. The other way to get it is to call the local NI sales engineer.
