I have PCI 7030 / 6040 E series Real time DAQ board running on LABVIEW RT 7.0.

Originally i was generating sine wave acquiring displacement and force signal via SCXI 1321 and filtering the acquired data all in real time. But at higher frequencies say above 100 Hz i get an error asking me to limit the number of tasks.

So i decided to write the data to a file and then do the processing offline.

With some communications over the phone with the application engineers i was told that there is no onboard memory on 7030. So i need to run two VI's. One in RT and one on HOST (WINDOWS XP) computer.

I have attached both my VI's. I tried saving it as both binary and text file but when i open the file i see just some thing like the textfile attached.

Also i want to write data from two channels from my scxi how do i incorporate that?

Can any one pls help me out!

I have posted an example VI that will show you how to format your data to write to a text file.  This should allow you to be able to read your data in the from Text files.
