AD9430 and HSC_ADC_EVAL--DC

Hi

I am currently working with a AD9430/PCB CMOS Evaluation Board and a HSC_ADC_EVAL--DC FIFOR 3 REV A Board. I need some help integrating this hardware with LabVIEW. I have used the included software ADC Analyzer 4.8.0, but I want to do more analysis with the signal in LabVIEW. How would I get the signal into LabVIEW? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hi, bleung.

I'm not familiar with those boards -- can you tell me a little about how they communicate with a PC? (Ethernet, serial, PCI card, etc.)

Thanks! Have a nice evening.

As of right now, they are using the parallel port to communicate with the computer.

Hi, bleung.

That post makes it sound like the manufacturer provided some dll's for use in integration -- you may want to check that out. You may also want to contact the manufacturer to see if they've created specific VIs to interact with LabVIEW. (Without knowing more about the device, it's nearly impossible to specifiy how to give the data to LabVIEW.) Once you've gotten the story from them, I'll be glad to help you implement the integration in whatever means is specified.

Have a nice weekend.
