We are exploring some AI possibilities with LabVIEW 2026. So far, Nigel and Claude has produced something useful.
Here is a short video showing it autonomously programming LabVIEW. We will try more complex coding next using MCP integration.

For us so far, it can only handle simple tasks and takes a lot of time, but it has started. The evolution should be exponential.
For those thinking LabVIEW may lose space with AI, we think differently.
Today in other languages, AI is starting to do all of the work, and developers knowing little how their code works. Complex systems use tons of tokens.
With LabVIEW, it seems a lot easier to integrate AI coding with human review and modifications, due to its graphical and very modular code.
Nigel has to firmly focus on using correct architectures for readability, this is a GIGANTIC must for its coding so we can better benefit from both AI and human knowledge.
