I am searching for a VI to communicate with my Electronic Ballast from ARRI.The type is:2,5/4 EB

Does anybody have work with this?

Hi,

what kind of interface has this Electronic Ballast? USB, RS 232? In the prduct manual i don't see an interface. At ni.com/idnet there are drivers available for more than 7,000 instruments but for ARRI i found nothing.

The interface is DMX-512 Standard.

I know,on ni.com i also didn´t find anything.

I think the only way is a DMX-512 to RS-232 converter and then use the standard VISA API. Please see here
