AVI movie from jpeg or bmp

Hi everybody,

I want to create an AVI-movie from jpeg or bmp files. Is that possible with Labview? Does anybody have any examples for that?

Hi,

This can be done by downloading the NI-IMAQ driver from the following link.

After installing the driver you can download the example Imaq_AVI_Processing that illustrates how this is done.

thank you for your reply to my question. I have tried the steps you recommended. I also downloaded the Imaq_AVI_Processing.vi. However, when I tried to run it, there were the following sub-Vis missing:

vi.lib\vision\Avi2.llb\IMAQ AviReadFrame

vi.lib\vision\Process.llb\IMAQ Threshold

You need to purchase Vision Assistant and IMAQ to have this library.

Hi,

Sorry. I didnt realize that the example had extra features to it. I will be back with an example on how to write an avi file using only the NI-IMAQ driver (be aware that NI-IMAQ only supports uncompressed AVI formats, so the file created will be big).
