AVI read help required

Hello, I want to create a program that reads an AVI file (maybe 25 frames per second), store only the first frame out of the 25 (because the rest of the frames are useless).

after it has selected the first frame of each sec it should than recreate an AVI file with the stores frames only. then i will perform an analysis to it...

i have managed to read an avi file but how do you take the first frame of each sec... plz help. i have tried the examples but am still struggling.. thank you

Have you considered to post your question in the Machine Vision board? It's more likely to get an answer there.

And do not reply to the question yourself if you haven't found the answer. Questions which will have no reply for a certain amount of time will be given to NI support staff and maybe someone there can help you. If a question has at least one reply this will be ommitted.
