They also offer a DLL ($) you can use to interface through, eliminiating the need to do all kinds of crazy things from labview to other apps.

Matthew: Yep, version 4.66. Well I havn't actually seen it my self, the test system is located at a suppliers facility and they complain that during the flash sequence the application sometimes freeze and they have to restart it via Task Manager.

SnowMule: Interesting! Mailed segger about it. You know how much they charge for it?

I don't remmeber what version I used in 2009, but the project I am doing right now is using v4.74 from July 2013. You may try upgrading the J-Flash software. Perhaps it is an issue in that version.

The DLL will PROBABLY do you no good, as the J-Flash program uses that same DLL. The DLL may be documented already for you.

Matthew: Absolutely! Strange however that i have v4.66 because i installed the system in Oct 2013 and I'm pretty sure I downloaded the latest version. However, I will upgrade to the latest when I get the chance.

Matthew: Maybe not, but I think its a cleaner way to use the hardware.

I should clarify I am using the Segger J-Flash ARM software.

Don't quote me on it, but I wanna say it's $800-1000.
One of those price points where for one or two test systems/products it's not really worth it (there's workarounds as you've found), but as you expand products/test stations it eases the development headaches.
We have one product that uses those programmers (2 test/programming systems), made do with some virtual keypress commands... while it worked, it didn't look too nice and it had its share of problems.
Now that we've got a second product using the same programmer (and another 3-4 test systems), we invested in the SDK.

Not exactly on topic but i have problems using Segger J-Flash to program our Proc.
In the GUI (J-Flash from Segger) everything works fine.
But i want to start the programming with Labview from the commandline.
It does work, but i hate the whole GUI popping up.
Can i redude the popup to just the statuswindow?
