About the remote controlling.

Using the LabVIEW6.1 Remote Panel,can I control the equipment of another computer in my local computer?For example,I can start up in my machine an A/D Module which is connected to another machine.And is there any limitation?

Hi flyheart,

if I understand you want to control the hardware installed in a remote pc from a local pc connected via a network.
If this is correct and if the hardware is NI DAQ device, you can use the Remote Device Access (RDA).You find it in the DAQ program group.
By this feature you can configure a remote device to appear in the MAX list of your local pc and you will have access to it transparently. Refer to DAQ help topics to configure and use RDA.
The limitations depend strongly on your network bandwidth and traffic, and I believe a minimum overhead due to RDA client/server driver.
