Access denied when writing to the SD card on compactrio

Trying to write a text file to the sd card in a compactrio 9053. It's a really basic VI for testing.

When I try to run it, I guess this error 8:

I've been at it for a few hours now, no dice. I can see the sd card in my rio's files:

I don't get why the cRIO is unable to access the SD card. I reformatted the SD card on my windows laptop from exFAT to ext2. It was only then that I could get it to even show up on my rio's files.
