Acquire and generate a signal

Dear friends,

Actually, i am trying to do open loop control system where I can actuate and measure the displacment at the same time. However, my problem is about the lag or the gab time between generating and measuring the signal. initially,I have tested my NI USB-6211 by connecting wires from AI 12 to Ao0 to test the performance as can be shown in the attached file. I have used some example in generating  a continuous signal and I have added a code that can measure a signal continuously. I have used a DC voltage controller in the front panel to manipulate the signals for testing the response.

Is there any way to develop the code to enhance the performance and reducing the lag between generating and measuring a signal .

I have attached the code that I used to test the performanc of NI USB-6211.

Best wishes,

Khalid

Hello khalid,

You've saved it in 2012.

I don't know the reason why you use 2 loops.

I combined them and added a difference waveform.

Hopefully this will help, you could try playing with sample rate too.
