Activation problem on Vision Update from 7.1 to 8.0

Having reinstalled Labview and Vision software, the activation code I had does not work. The problem is around the fact that
Vision 8 gives an update for NiMaq 1394 for IEEE 1394 to version 2.0.2, I am unable to present an appropriate activation code.

    I have been looking into the problem you are having and there appears to be a lot of things suggesting that there is a great dependency on the previous versions of software you have installed. Did you have a version of NIMAQ 1394 for IEEE 1394 installed before you upgraded Vision? If so which version was this?

 

I have been looking at this KB on the issues with NIMAQ for IEEE 1394 installation. Take a look at it and see what versions you have and if any of it applies to you.
