Hello,
I am currently running a internally developed software using TestStand 2013 and LabVIEW 2013. I am recently seeing an error that during the test being run, from Teststand, the "Lost ActiveX connection with LabVIEW server. The LabVIEW adapter will try to reconnect on the next execution attempt" is popping up.
Does someone know why it's happening? Is it dependent on the NI Tool versions? Are there any settings that could be causing this issue?
Let me know.
Thank you,
Shreya

Hello shreyapatel,
It might be because of tool/software versions, maybe something has been updated without your notice.
I found the following reply in this thread: ActiveX error for a vi called by a Sequence - NI Community.
Can you try to isolate the code in that VI that is causing LV to crash? Start with skipping that step and verifying that you do not get the error. If so, then strip out parts of the VI until the error stops happening.
Another option is to see what engine TestStand is using - go to TestStand > Sequence Editor > Configure > Adapters > LabVIEW > Configure, change the default setting to use the LabVIEW Runtime Engine. If that doesn't work, please try selecting other engines.
Let me know what you find!
