ActiveX, Excel Chart and the Y Axis

I have been working on an program in LV6.0.2 on a WIN98SE machine with Office97 SP2. I am trying to turn the Y Axis Values on an off. I had posted a question a couple weeks ago about controlling the max and min for the X or y axis on a chart and have that working only if the axis are shown on the chart. now I need to do that without the axis being shown. the Property .HasAxis seems to look like the correct one to turn the Axis on or off, but I cannot figure it out. I would be happy with turning the Axis on, setting my max and min an then turning it back off to get it to work.
