Again: How to delete project using SCC?

The previous answer did not address my issue. I was not deleting folders manually. If you delete a project by using the SCC -> Project dialog, you are only deleting the LOCAL copy as you are reminded when you try to do this. The message also tells you that you have to use SCC -> Advanced to delete the project from the server, but does not tell you how to do this. I do not want to delete each file individually from the server, I want to delete entire projects. Also, I am using a computer with SCC Administrator installed.

Thanks.

Rob,

I searched the menus and the manual for the SCC Toolkit, and could not find out how to delete a project. I have asked R&D about this, and hopefully will hear back from them soon. If they don't end up responding to this post, I'll certainly do so when I hear back from them.

Thanks for your patience on this issue, and have a pleasant day.

Rob,

Here's what R&D had to say:

"First run SCC >> Project to delete the files from the local dir. Then run SCC >> Advanced, from this dialog select Show All Files from the pull down list. Use ctrl-click to select all the files in the desired project, then click on Delete. This will delete all the files in the project from SCC. Note, after this operation a number of empty directories may be left on the master (where the project used to reside), it should be safe to delete these dirs."

I hope this suggestion from R&D helps. Thanks for your patience on this, and have a pleasant day.

Sincerely,
