Agilent 34401A - Reaching 1000 samples per second

Hi,

I've been trying to find a post with the correct answer, but the closest has been this one:

https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Increasing-reading-rate-of-34401a/td-p/1230535

In summary, have anyone reach 1000 samples per second using the Agilent 34401A with GPIB and LabVIEW. I have followed all the guideline to achieve maximum sampling rate, but i can only get data as fast as ~120 samples per second.

Thanks!

P.D. I know if I change the hardware I can achieve that sampling rate easily.

Hi Gregory,

Due to my work environment, I'm won't be able to upload this code. Let me create a generic example, and I will upload it soon. However, my interest is just to know if anyone have reached this sampling rate using LabVIEW.

Thanks

Hi GerdW,

Yes, I followed that setup, and the one the is in the Keysight DMM manual. In fact, I also verify the Agilent manual to verify the SCPI commands are the same (maybe unnecessary extra work :S ).
