Agilent 34970 visa not found in LabVIEW 64bit

Dear Community,

I am new in LabVIEW, now I need to acquire some thermocouple temperature by Agilent 34970.

Problem: I have confirmed that the NI VISA and GPIB driver are installed in least version, and the device can be found in both device manager and NI MAX. But In LabVIEW 2021sp 64bit I cannot find it in visa interface. However, in 32bit it works.

Question:

1. Is the Agilent not supporting the 64bit LabVIEW?

2. What should I install or config anything extra?

 

I have to run the program in 64bit environment because a python script only support for 64bit. It has confused me days, I will be appreciate for your kindly help.

Well since the "Tulip driver" required to run the Agilent/Keysight GPIB interface is 32 bit only you have two choices

1. Get a NI GPIB interface like the USB-GPIB-HS
2. Use the 34970's serial interface instead of GPIB
