Alternative to Google Maps

Hi everyone,

With Google's price hikes last year on their Google Maps API, has anybody come up with an alternative to the GMaps API?

Has anyone tried Open Street Map?

I have a few Ham Radio programs that use it so they must have an API like Google Maps does...
