Analog input on 2 external clocks

Hi,

In my LV application, I am creating a pulse train on a counter output of a PCI-Mio-16xe-50, to make a stepper motor move.

The same counter channel is used as an external clock for my AI, to synchronize AI readings with the position of the stepper.

This is working okay.

I would like to control a 2nd setup (stepper motor + AI readings) withthe same card (2nd counter output + other AI channels).

I am getting errors on the 2nd task. Could it be that more than one external clock is not allowed?

Can I fix this without adding a 2nd card.

Last resort would be AI with internal clock, and adding an extra AI channel to sample the pulsetrain.

Dear ThomasV,

thank you so much for your post on our webforum. Please note that your DAQ card has only one A/D convertor. So you can only use one clock. You have to combine the multiple analoge input channels in to one task.

If you are still getting errors please provide us with the error code and an example VI,
