I would like to verify the output from my analog channels on a PXI-6723, however, this card does not seem to support 'internal channels'. No internal channels appear in the I/O Filter list (e.g. ao0_vs_aognd). Is it possible to verify analog outputs without internal channels? Thanks.

What do you mean by internal channels? Do you mean some sort of analog input tied to each analog output that you can read? The PXI-6723 does not have this feature. There is no way to read the output without external equipment. You could connect the AO line to an analog input of another card, or to a DMM. There is no other way with this card.
The PXI-6723 had some digital I/O. If you are outputing TTL levels, 0 and 5v only, you could connect the AO line to a DI and read a high or low. But I bet this is not what you want.

The internal channels are available on many of the M Series cards, and possibly others. In LabVIEW, they are listed under the NIDAQmx physical channels when you request them through the I/O Name Filtering dialog. In the case of the aox_vs_aognd, you get the aox voltage referenced to ao ground without an external connection.
I have a 0-5V range on 30 outputs which I'd like to verify within the software. My only other card is a 6221 with not enough analog inputs. Might have to upgrade...

I figured that is what you meant by internal channel. I don't think there is a card with 30 analog outputs and internal channels on each. In that case, you would need an additional DAQ card with at least 30 AI's.
Maybe an NI rep can chime in here and suggest a card if there is one that has 30 AOs with internal channels.
