Analog signal characterization

Hello,

I have a PXI-6120 and would like to measure the frequency and amplitude
of a number of analog signals. The frequency range is between 500 and
3000 Hz.
And the amplitude is between 0.4 to 3.0 volts. I've searched through
some of
the examples but have not found any useful clues!

Look on the Analysis>Waveform Measurements palette. There's Extract Single Tone Information and there is also the Express VI called Tone Measurements.
