Anyway to use Bluetooth with LabVIEW under W2K ?

... or should I assume that I have to migrate to Window XP ?

I just installed a CNet USB key, working nicely with the IVT BlueSoleil driver, but not recognized by LabVIEW (Error message : The network function is not supported by the system).

I have read a few threads on the driver subject, saying that only Microsoft drivers are recognized by LV, but they seemed to apply only to WXP, and anyway where almost unreadable for a MacOS user !

I feel stuck. Don't know where to go. 😞

Will anyone try to make my Christmas holidays enjoyable ? 😉

Hello Chilly Charly,

You want use Bluetooth with LabVIEW under Windows OS, have you tried to use LabVIEW Bluetooth functions?
Please see the attached picture.

These functions work only under Windows OS

Thanks for the reply.

Yes I did try the BT functions and the examples. With the examples, I only get the error message : The network function is not supported by the system. And nothing at all with the BT functions, not even an error message ! This is something documented : LV uses only the Microsoft BT drivers. What I would like to understand is How to install these drivers under W2K, and where can I get them !!!

Any idea ?

As far as I can remember, the BT functions are (officially) only supported in 7.1 and above under XP. You might wish to look at the documentation to confirm this.
