App builder fails due to undefined target

I have generated a build in LV8.5.  I get an error when you try to run the install.  Says that the target is undefined.  I have (I think) defined it like i always did in the past (recent upgrade from 8.2).  I am fouled somehow and cannot find why.  I can send the whole project to someone for evaluation.

Thanks

Jim,

Does the EXE build properly and then run just fine?  Also, are you able to build the Install just fine?  It sounds like the everything built fine but when running the installer itself you were receiving the error, is this the case?  Could you provide a screenshot of the error?

Was this project that was upgraded from 8.2 a Real-Time or FPGA project?  If so, do you have these modules installed with your 8.5 version?  Some additional information would help pinpoint what is causing this error.

Hi,

Yes, the app runs fine after the build.  The application build seems to finish OK as well.  Just when you run the install setup do you get the error.  I hopefully have attached a shot of the error.

The app was done originally in 8.5 (is a new project).  We have done several applications in the past with sucess.  I think this is the first time in 8.5.  In 8.2 we did several.

Jim,

I see that you are trying to install this on Vista.  Are you able to install this on any other machines and/or OS with any success?  Have you re-built the installer?  Additionally, are you an administrator on the machine which you are attempting to run the installer on?
