Append Matrix Data Inconsistency

This is a seemingly very weird problem; I have data that I want to append to a matrix, as I'm actively building it throughout a looping data-collection process.

I have a set-up shown in the picture attached; what doesn't make sense, is that the numbers that are appended to the matrix (ie what you see in 18 that wasn't there in 17) aren't the numbers seen in 16 - they're mostly close, but definitely not the same numbers and there is sometimes a substantial difference between what is appended and what should have been. I have it appending

Any ideas why this would be happening?

Attach a VI with typical data saved as default.  Your description doesn't tell us anything about the data.  "mostly close", "not the same", substantial difference" doesn't mean anything to us.

Is there a reason you are using a matrix and not an array?
