hi,

The application has to be built with LabVIEW Runtime Engine included.

Simply go to Installer Settings tab, checks the Create installer check-box, click on Advanced... button, include the RTE etc., and build it.

The built installer will install both the application program and the RTE on the deployment machine.

Hope above is correct and useful to you 😉

What DAQmx version are you using?

Do check the NI-DAQ & LabVIEW Version Compatibility (for Windows)

Take note that version higher that 8.9 will not support LV7.1

In my point of view it's not compatibility issue as the application is running on laptop with LabVIEW 7.1 .. It is certainly the issue of DAQ driver installation on target computer.. Please include the proper DAQ driver in your exe or installer package.. I can't see any other problem in application deployment .. just check the proper driver and runtime engine..

Did your installer include DAQmx Runtime?  Does your application use channels and tasks that were defined in MAX?  If so you will need to export those settings to the target pc.

Agree with Wayne. That might be one of the possible reasons.

That's where the source of suspicious came from... though maybe I am wrong 😉

Second that. It should be the DAQ-mx driver and runtime is not installed somewhere. Last time i also do have similar problem but it due to different version of device drivers used between my host computer and dispatch computer.

If no labview runtime, it will prompt and say runtime ..... not found. If device driver is installed wrongly or partially, the application will still run but behave in a weird way.
