Is there any way to apply some minor changes to a VI that has already been created on a machine equipped with DSC development system?
The current machine which this VI is running on now, is only equipped with DSC RTS. Consequently, there is nothing in palettes related to DSC and some features like HMI Wizard is also absent from this machine. I know that this is quite natural and I'm not suppossed to be able to edit my VI with DSC RTS, but I want to apply only some minor changes.
If I want to be more clear, I want to edit links of some OPC tags to some controls and indicators on my front panel, but on this machine I only have DSC-RTS and there is no HMI wizard. "Data connection" dialog box is similar to LabVIEW system without DSC module. I know that it is possible to use common DSS method, using "data connection", but i'm not sure if it functions exactly like HMI wizard.
