Arbitrary waveform for PSK/QAM modulation

Hi, What I want to do: PSK/QAM/... modulation on a arbitrary waveformn, sending and receiving. I am using: modulation toolkit->RFSG examples->MT RFSG Generate PSK.vi . Tried to do this true the 'filter'-option but next to the 3 default options, not very easy to use custom waveform. At the receiving end I am using:modulation toolkit->niRFSA examples->MT niRFSA PSK Demod.vi . Ideas? This seems like a common usage so I am wondering what the convenient solution is.

Hi,

Could you please provide a screenshot of the filter option you are trying to alter? I have the example open, and cannot see any boolean filter options.

Also I'm not sure what 3 default options you are referencing, and what you are having problems with with them - could you please elaborate a little more?

Thanks,

In 'MT RFSG Generate PSK.vi' for example in the front panel you can choose between 'none', 'Raised Cosine', 'Root Raised Cosine' and 'Gaussian'. It is there that I was thinking of adding my own filter. Hence I have to modify a lvlib block. ... Is this the normal way to achieve this? Also, when I run the example for 2PSK or 4PSK I have a higher EVM for 2PSK, the power though is the same. Isn't that weird? Also EVM measurements are not waterproof when you have a nonzero BER, what is the normal thing to do when this is the case?
