Are DSC NSV Events for RT hosted Libraries true events or are they simulated by DSC Deamon polling?

Just curious to know if a RT SVE has some special hooks to provide signalling or notification back to a windows host.

Or is the DSC simply polling the NSV to see if its value has changed?

DSC is polling the NSV to see if the value is changing.  There is no notification about a value change.
