Are Instrument Assistants locked to hardware serial numbers?

We have 2 simular jigs which we use in production testing.

Both identical, but my labview application does not seem to work on the second jig.

Error reporting all indicate DAQ problems

"VISA:  (Hex 0xBFFF005F) No listeners condition is detected (both NRFD and NDAC are deasserted)."

The only differences in the jigs would be two device serial numbers of the USB-6229's.

For jig 1, it loads up as DEV 1, and for Jig 2, it loads up as DEV3

Could this be my problem?

Hi Morne,

The Error you are getting is asociated with NI-GPIB, specifically there are no devices configured as listeners on the GPIB bus. Do you have a GPIB card on the rig, is the cable connected and the instrument that it is meant to be talking too switched on?
