Did you mean:

Arrays greater than 0 and taking only the elements that doesn't contain that

Do you need to keep track of these errors?  The other alternative is to never save them to begin with.

if there are other alternatives. i would love to hear it or see it.
i think its for better interest that we keep track of it.
but ultimately, i want to create an excel file and that is the reason why i want to take those ZEROS off.
I don't want to have a too wide of a scale on the graph.i want the graph to look something like this, but on excel.

Be careful with this approach.  Any x value less than 0.5 will be dropped in this solution.
Quite right, Matthew. That was an assumption on my part that I did not state as I was just looking at the data he had.

To poster: Do you have any control over the zeros being generated in the first place? If you don't have to deal with them...

If you have access to where the programmer sets it to 0, I would set it to a negative number at bare minimum.  This is a completely impossible value, assuming x is time.  If you're parsing them out in your Excel file, you're not traking them anyway, so you can never save them.  Again, if you have access to where the programmer is setting it to 0, just don't save the data.

Don't quite understand your statement since I wasn't using the Replace Subset function in the example I showed you. You may want to change your palette setting to display the function names:

You can do this from Tools->Options. Change to the "Controls/Functions Palettes" category and select "Category (Icons and Text)" from the "Format" menu. You can see the Replace Subset there on the first row.

For what it's worth, I've attached the example VI.

new problem, can anyone suggest a solution?
to start the program, i have created an excel file with a header looking like this
image 1.
i am not too familiar with creating excel file. so someone suggested that i use ".XLS"
and write/replace it in a spreadsheet.
on the left is method (image 2)
but I know that method 2 is the correct way of doing this.

i need to do 1 thing.
have the same header i start with. add to the files the data(s)
but i have to keep the function that doesn't take the "ZEROS"
I hope someone can suggest a solution.
thanks

For a new question, you should really start a new thread, that way, if someone else has a similar question later, they are more likely to find your question (and the solution) when they search, so it avoids repeated questions.

To get familiar with using excel, check out the examples in the example finder and see if they get you started.
