Hi,
I've a Academic Site license for LabView 2010 (spring 2011) installed on my lab-notebook (windows 7). Yesterday the anti-virus program "Avira Antivir" found a trojan called "TR/ATRAPS.GEN" in the file: "Vision builder AI 2010 NI cvs.zip". "McAfee" didn't find this threat. Is this a known problem? Might this be a false-positive report of Antivir?
Thanks for your help!

All files that NI posts are virus-checked. False positives are (unfortunately) quite common. When you get a claimed trojan in a file that's distributed from a site like NI it's usually best to check it by using another virus program, or by using a site like virustotal.com.

Thanks for your answer. I also scanned the system with "McAfee" and there was no threat found. Upload to virustotal.com is not possible because the filesize exceeds the upload limit (24.1 MB > 20 MB). "Metascan online" (alternative to virustotal, 16 scanner) found also no threat. So I hope this was an false-positive report of Avira.

In the past I have sent "false positive" reports to Avira and they fixed it within a few days.
I was using the free version. I was impressed with their support.
