Bar Code Reader?

Does anyone have any information on using a barcode reader/scanner with LV
5.0.1. It would be great to find a manufacturer taht has pre-written
drivers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You don't need a driver for this stuff normally. They can be connected
(inserted)
on the keyboard line in, and anything the barcode reader recognizes will be
input as if it was written on the keyboard. If you insist, you could buy a
modell for RS-232 communoication, but I think it is a waste of time to do it
this way....

Hi Joe,

Your last advice was a good one using what is called a keyboard wedge
unit will be a lot easier than having to worry about drivers...

I work for a leading manufacture of barcode readers please check out
our newest and best selling scanner

This is all fine, if you have a single product and a single CPU. But my application requires that we test 4 products simultaneously with scanners positioned over each of them (4 scanners). A keyboard wedge doesn't do well here.

Any other ideas?
