Big buffer size

Hi there,

I wonder if it's possible, with labview to manage a big buffer
(several Giga) of cluster as a FIFO (The computer will have enought
RAM or swap)? Or do I need to simply manage an big array of clusters ?

Does it exist in Labview an additional module for this kind of stuff ?

Actually I will get on my serial port a stream of data that I wanna
put in a quite big buffer before writing it on my hard drive.

Well LabVIEW is 32bit and that limits most things to 4GB. But the
limiting factor will be probably your OS instead. Windows and also Linux
do only allow for 2 or 3GB per process to be addressed even if you
manage to cram 100GB into your computer.
