Blinking control fails on tabcontrol pages

When I create a control and set it to blink using a property node, this
functions OK. However, when I place the same control on a page of a
tabcontrol and then set it to blink, the control shows up also on the other
pages within the tabcontrol (in other words, all pages seem to become
transparant for this control element when it blinks). I am using Labview
6.i. Is there any way to avoid this strange behaviour ?

I also wanted to set a complete control element with an array of data. This
apparently does not work, I could only set individual elements to blink. Is
it not possible to select the complete array ?
