Blue Screen of Death

For some reason intermittently (appr 1 in 15 times) the instant I press the execute program button my computer freaks out and gives me a blue screen of death. What factors could be contributing to this problem and how do I fix it? I am using Labview 7 on Windows XP

This isn't enough information to be able to know exactly what is wrong or how to fix it.

But, it probably has to with a driver or lower-level function if you are getting the blue screen. What do have installed besides LabVIEW? What hardware? If you can narrow it down to a specific, isolated problem, you could get a better answer.

You can also try reinstalling your software and drivers.

If you can get a file name from the error, that would be helpful. Other than that, what you are trying to do and with what software/hardware would narrow it down.
