Bluetooth COM Port

I have a bluetooth device that communicates over a virtual COM port.  I can discover the device and it's services, but can't seem to initiate the COM port.

Has anyone used the Bluetooth VI's to set up a virtual COM port?

Currently we do not support setting up virtual com ports through bluetooth. At this piont our driver software makes too many checks with the hardware it's communicating with, and this causes some problems with trying to do a virtual com port through bluetooth. Is there any reason you want to use a virtual com port and not just use the bluetooth VIs to communicate with the instrument?

I'm using a Bluetooth Linkmatik 2.0 with preprogrammed serial port profile and i'n encountering problems in acquiring data using my bluetooth serial com port 6. Does labview 8.0 student version support it? Thanks!

For record purposes and benefit of future users, it is able to work with a bluetooth module with serial port profile. Just remember to install the drivers CD.

hi all,
im new here and want ur help

i bought a linkmatik 2.0 -SO- and connect it as it shown in the data sheet with out a controller - later i want to connect it to a PIC- but i cannot discover it in my mobile, any one can help me plz?

my connection :
-VSS, reset and ESC to the ground
-vdd to the 3.3 volt source
- connect RTS with CTS for no flow control
-connect ATN and Tx to leds to see any response but there is no responce


how can i descover it in my mobile???
