I'm attempting to build an Installer, including the LabVIEW 2017 RunTime Environment and NI-VISA Installers. The LabVIEW 2017 Platform is not found on the computer and the "installer source location" is C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\MDF\ProductCache" even though I think it should be in "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\LabVIEW Run-Time\2017"
I've lost the original LabVIEW 2017 installation media so I attempted to download the installer and point to that directory but it didn't work.
Does anyone have an easy work around for this? Thanks in advance!

I think product cache is probably the correct folder. It is looking for the installers, not what is installed. You should be able to download the LV 2017 runtime and device drivers and point to them as the installation media. (after any necessary unzipping).

I downloaded the LabVIEW RunTime installer and VISA Runtime but the Installer Build doesn't seem to recognize the files. What specific files is it looking for? *.msi or setup.exe?

I think the .cab file has most of the data, but you probably need everything. Here is a glimpse at some of the stuff in my product cache folder:
