Hello.
My problem:
When I build an installer and put it in a new PC, I can find my USB device when I start the application.exe.
In windows device manager the device is installed and I can see It: NI-VISA USB DEVICE.
On my developpement PC the device is Working.
Is there any specials steps to link the device to the application?
Thanks.

Any ideas?

Does your built executable rely on a constant device reference or is it selectable from the Front Panel? If the reference to the USB device is hard coded, it may not possess the same reference on a different machine.

The devise is Selectable in the front pannel. But the only option I see is Refresh... Don't see USB::0x...

Also When I open MAX on the new PC. I can't see any devices.
The only option I see is:
My System / Software.
Remonte System.
That's all.
Thanks
Daniel.

Daniel,
what is listed in the Windows device manager? Is it possible that your device is listed as "unknown USB device"?
If so, you missed to install the required drivers....

In windows device manager the device is installed and I can see It: NI-VISA USB DEVICE.
But Should I do something With MAX on the new PC that doesn't have Labview installed?
Thanks
Daniel.

I installed a virtual Com Port on the new PC and even though, I can't see a simple COM PORT. in The FRONT PANEL.
The attachement show what I shoul see, but instead I have only "Refresh" for choice.
