I have two machines, each of which has the same PXI chassis model, same CPU model, same PXI module models (they are supposed to be identical machines). Each machine has a PXI-8513 CAN bus module. Each machine has terminating resistors. Each machine is running CAN bus at 250Kbs.
Both machines are receiving CAN bus messages.
One of the machines is able to send CAN bus messages. The other machine is only able to send CAN bus messages when NI-XNET Bus Monitor is monitoring.
Can anyone suggest why this might be the case, and what to do to allow CAN bus messages to be sent when NI-XNET Bus Monitor is not running?
