CANNOT COPY VI FILE OVER NETWORK using win XP

All access has been granted and the file attributes are not read only. I can not copy vi file from a remote folder located on a host pc over a network, however I can copy any other type of file located in that same folder. Labview is not opened on either pc. I can copy a file from my desktop pc to the host pc, but once the vi has been open and saved on the host pc, I cannot copy the file back to my desktop pc unless I physically go to the host pc, link to a folder on my desktop pc and copy it. If the vi has not been saved by the host pc, I can copy the file over the network. whats up? It doesnt seem to be a windows file security issue because it only occurs with labview.

When at the remote pc, all files function as normal. I can rename, change extension, copy from folder to folder, delete, but try to do this from a networked position not possible
